Mark Klein ('87)
CEO, GSV Capital
Mark serves as CEO and Board Member of GSV Capital.
Prior to GSV, he served as a Managing Member and Majority Partner of M. Klein & Company, LLC, a registered broker dealer. In addition, he serves on the board of directors for Atlantic Alliance Partnership Corp. and has served as an investment adviser at B. Riley Wealth Management.
Mark served as a director, CEO and Co-Chairman of National Holding Corporations. He also served as a director of New University Holdings Corp., a capital pool company listed on the TSX Venture Exchange. Mark served as the CEO and President and a director of 57th Street General Acquisition Corp., a special purpose acquisition company, until it completed a merger with Crumbs Bake Shop. Subsequently, he served as a member of the board of directors of Crumbs.
Mark served as CEO, President and a director of Alternative Asset Management Acquisition Corporation, a special purpose acquisition company which completed a merger with Great American Group LLC. He also served as the CEO of Hanover Group LLC,. Chairman, CEO of Ladenburg Thalmann & Co.. and CEO President of NBGI Asset Management, Inc.
Mark received his BS in Business Administration from Emory University and earned an MM from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
