The Northwestern University Club of NYC, the Kellogg Finance Network, and Purple Arch Ventures are hosting a panel featuring accomplished NU alum entrepreneurs and investors. Panel participants will include:
Michael Lazerow ('95) – Founder of Lazerow Ventures, a digital media investment fund; founded Buddy Media and Golf.com and was formerly the Chief Strategy Officer at Salesforce
Wayne Moore (KSM '95) – Partner at Purple Arch Ventures; formerly worked in content acquisition at Netflix
Phil Friedman (KSM '80) – Operating Partner at Kodem Growth Partners, a growth-stage enterprise investor focused on transformational technology companies
Eva Shure (Comm '01) – Founder of The Premiere, a startup that blurs the lines between live entertainment and interactive technology
Erica Chang (Weinberg '98) – Co-Founder of Soda Says, an online platform that curates the best of lifestyle tech, from wellness and home to beauty and kids
The panel will be moderated by David Beazley (Medill ’96, ’98), the Managing Partner of Purple Arch Ventures—an NU alumni venture capital firm.
David will facilitate a conversation around the panelists’ years at NU, how they got started as an investor or entrepreneur, and key trends that continue to impact their businesses. Then, mixing & mingling (beer, wine, and light bites will be provided).
