Executive Vice-President of Strategy & Business Development, Endeavor
 

David Geithner is the executive vice president of strategy and business development at Endeavor. Prior to that he was the Chief Financial Officer for Condé Nast, a company with over $1billion in revenue and 3,000 employees. He led the company’s financial performance and strategic planning process, transforming the business through diversification of revenue streams and cost reductions. David is based in Larchmont, New York.  

Before joining Condé Nast, David had a distinguished career at Time, Inc. He was the  Executive Vice President of Time Inc. and President of the company’s Entertainment Group. As EVP, David drove financial and operating performance for the company’s largest and most profitable business unit, with over $1 billion in revenue and 800 employees nationwide and a portfolio of iconic media brands that included People, Entertainment Weekly, InStyle, People en Español, StyleWatch and Essence. Earlier, as Senior Vice President of Finance and General Manager for Time Inc.’s Entertainment Group, David worked with the President and Managing Editor to drive the group’s financial and operating performance and led the strategic planning process that established a long-term plan for Time Inc.

David has served on several industry boards. He was appointed successively by the CEOs of both Time Inc. and Condé Nast to the MPA’s Board of Directors and was nominated by the CFO to be Time Inc.’s representative on the Internet Advertising Board’s CFO Council (he was elected Co-Chair of the Council in 2012).

David holds a BA in Government from Dartmouth College and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
