As CIO for the Americas, Mike manages over 50 US-based research professionals dedicated exclusively to serving the needs of individual investors.

Mike is a member of the WM USA Management Committee, in addition to serving on UBS’s Global Investment Committee and Global CIO Management Committee, which is responsible for formulating the UBS Global Wealth Management Investment House View. With more than 30 years of experience in the financial industry, he is widely recognized as a leading market expert.
 

Paul Meeks (KSM '92) is a frequent commentator on CNBC and a 30-year chief investment officer, portfolio manager, and private and public equity analyst investing in technology, growth, and sustainable companies. He is a portfolio manager at Independent Solutions Wealth Management in Charleston, NC. He manages separate accounts in all domestic and foreign asset classes using actively-managed portfolios and exchange-traded funds. The former include his proprietary equity strategies, Technology and Value + Dividends.
 

Ellen Carr (KSM '99) is a Fixed Income Portfolio Manager at Weaver Barksdale and an adjunct professor of finance at Columbia Business School. She specializes in the construction and management of high yield bond portfolios. Prior to joining the firm, she served as Senior Vice President and a High Yield Portfolio Manager for institutional separate accounts and mutual funds for The Capital Group Companies / American Funds in Los Angeles, CA. Along with her high yield responsibilities, Ms. Carr also managed investment grade corporate and long duration credit portfolios. She began her career as an Investment Analyst for the Fixed Income Group at Capital in 1999. Ms. Carr received her BA degree from Harvard College and her MBA from Northwestern University.
